“When Victims have no more strength, CADVA will be their strength. When they have been silenced, CADVA will be their voice. When they have been made to feel worthless, CADVA will transform them into priceless gems.”
Caribbean American Domestic Violence Awareness (CADVA) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization founded on February 25, 2012 in Orlando, Florida. CADVA’s work centers on ending domestic violence through grassroots community organizing, survivor empowerment, and public education — with a particular focus on Caribbean and Caribbean American communities.
Our Mission: To address domestic violence through grassroots community efforts and partnership throughout the Caribbean region — empowering survivors, educating the public, and building a community where every person is safe and valued.
